# Components:

→ Apples

01 - 3 large apples, such as Fuji or Honeycrisp

→ Spices

02 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
03 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

→ Optional

04 - 1 to 2 teaspoons granulated sugar or coconut sugar, for extra sweetness

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Wash and core apples. Slice into thin rings approximately 1/8 inch thick using a mandoline slicer or sharp knife.
03 - Place apple slices on prepared baking sheets in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
04 - Combine ground cinnamon and nutmeg in a small mixing bowl. If preferred, add sugar for enhanced sweetness.
05 - Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the apple slices.
06 - Bake for 1 hour. Carefully flip each apple slice.
07 - Return to oven and bake for an additional 45 to 60 minutes until apples are crisp and lightly golden.
08 - Remove baking sheets from oven and allow chips to cool completely; chips will firm up further as they cool. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
