# Components:

→ Meatballs

01 - 8.8 oz ground beef
02 - 3.5 oz ground pork
03 - 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1 garlic clove, minced
07 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
08 - 1/4 tsp dried oregano
09 - 1/2 tsp salt
10 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

→ Pizza

11 - 1 prepared pizza dough (12 inches diameter)
12 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce
13 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
14 - 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
15 - 1 tbsp olive oil

→ Hot Honey

16 - 1/4 cup honey
17 - 1-2 tsp hot sauce (sriracha or chili flakes, to taste)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 425°F.
02 - Combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix gently until just combined. Form into 16-18 small meatballs approximately 3/4 inch in diameter.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides for 5-6 minutes without fully cooking through. Transfer to a plate.
04 - Roll out the prepared pizza dough on a lined baking sheet or pizza stone to about 12 inches in diameter.
05 - Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 3/4 inch border. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the sauce. Arrange browned meatballs and sliced red onion on top.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
07 - While pizza bakes, warm honey and hot sauce together in a small saucepan over low heat until combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
08 - Remove pizza from oven. Drizzle generously with the hot honey mixture. Slice and serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • If you drizzle enough hot honey, people might start requesting pizza night just for this.
  • The blend of savory, cheesy, and spicy-sweet flavors turns a classic into something completely addictive.
02 -
  • Don’t overbake the meatballs before putting them on the pizza or they’ll end up tough.
  • Letting the honey get just a little warm with the hot sauce makes it easier to drizzle and infuses extra flavor.
03 -
  • Let the dough rest at room temp for 30 minutes—it stretches better and bakes more evenly that way.
  • Mix the honey and hot sauce ahead of time so the flavors meld (and taste to adjust the heat before drizzling).
