Nutella Puff Pastry Snowflakes (Print View)

Golden puff pastry filled with creamy Nutella, twisted into festive snowflake shapes for a delightful treat.

# Components:

→ Pastry

01 - 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (about 8.8 oz each), thawed if frozen

→ Filling

02 - 6 tablespoons Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread

→ Topping

03 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll both sheets of puff pastry. Place one sheet on the prepared tray.
03 - Evenly spread Nutella over the pastry sheet, leaving a 0.4-inch border around edges.
04 - Place the second sheet of pastry on top, aligning edges precisely.
05 - Place a small glass in the center without pressing down. Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into 16 equal strips from the glass edge to pastry perimeter, forming sun rays.
06 - Twist each strip gently 2 to 3 times. Optionally pinch ends together to create a snowflake pattern.
07 - Remove the glass carefully. Brush beaten egg on the pastry surface for a golden finish.
08 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until puffed and deep golden brown.
09 - Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
