→ Assembly

22 - 12 slider buns
23 - 1 cup lettuce or arugula
24 - 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved (optional)
25 - Sliced red onion, for topping

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 2 minutes. In a large bowl, combine soaked breadcrumbs, ground beef, ground pork, diced onion, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Mix until evenly combined without overworking.
03 - Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each into a small patty approximately the size of a slider bun. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
04 - Bake patties for 18 to 20 minutes until fully cooked through.
05 - While patties bake, combine ketchup, chopped peaches, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and chili powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peaches soften. Blend mixture until smooth using an immersion blender and continue simmering for 3 to 5 minutes to thicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
06 - During the final 2 minutes of baking, top each patty with half a slice of cheddar cheese, then return to the oven to melt.
07 - Place lettuce or arugula on the bottom half of each toasted slider bun. Add a meatloaf patty, spoon over peach bourbon BBQ sauce, and top with sliced red onion. Cover with bun tops and serve immediately.
