# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cayenne pepper.
03 - Add cold, cubed unsalted butter and use a pastry cutter or fingertips to incorporate until the mixture has a coarse crumb texture.
04 - Stir in the shredded sharp cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
05 - In a small mixing bowl, whisk together canned pumpkin puree and buttermilk until smooth.
06 - Add the pumpkin mixture to the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined; do not overmix.
