01 - 8 slices soft whole wheat or white sandwich bread

# Directions:

01 - Lay out bread slices and lightly spread mayonnaise or butter if desired.
02 - Use a horse head-shaped cookie cutter to cut 8 horse head shapes from the bread slices.
03 - On one bread cutout, layer a slice of cheddar cheese and a slice of turkey, ham, or cucumber; spread cream cheese on the inside of the top cutout.
04 - Place the top bread cutout over the filling to assemble the sandwiches.
05 - Adhere small pieces of black olive for eyes and nostrils onto each sandwich using cream cheese as glue if needed.
06 - Arrange julienned carrot strips along the neck or head to represent a mane.
